We have been doing a poor job of updating this blog to reflect the rides we're doing, so I think it is time to resurrect the blogging. Gotta remember to bring a camera too, something else that's been lacking.
This week we'll be on the Falcon Trail. Meet at the B-52 @ 1700. Beer will be provided.
Based on the forecast as of Tuesday afternoon, you best bring some warm rain gear.
Thursday: A chance of snow before 11am, then a chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 10 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain before 7pm, then a slight chance of snow between 7pm and midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.
The Ride
Rain held off, just a bit chilly. Ron, Rob, Jake, Ryan and Scott completed the clockwise loop in 1 hr 45 min. Ron set a blistering pace for the first half, then Rob and Jake took turns leading the rest of the ride. Fastest RDBM group ride on the Falcon trail yet. Time to go pro?
